Upload the data

Once the template is ready, select the file from file selector on the bulk upload dialogue box, then click on the Upload File button.

During the file upload, customer portal checks the data on the template to make sure it meets the basic data requirement.  For example, if all the mandatory data is provided, if the compliance date is a valid date in the past, etc.  When the data checking is complete, portal will inform you if there is any error.

For all the errors found in Engine Model, ESN, Operator, CI Service Bulletin and Rev # columns, you have to correct them on the template and upload again.  These rows are grayed out with a red X icon at the beginning of the row to indicate the row will not be submitted.

You can correct errors in other columns on the data correction screen.  The fields with editable errors are highlighted in red with a simple error message underneath each field.  When all the data is corrected, the data is ready to be submitted. At this point, the Submit button will be enabled. Click on the Submit button to submit the data.

In case you do not know how to correct the invalid data, or you have doubt about the data even though the portal does not prompt any error, you can choose to ignore the row by clicking on the Trashcan icon on the left of the row.  All the ignored rows are grayed out.

To easily get to the rows with editable error, click on the “Only show rows with editable errors” checkbox.  When it is checked, only the rows with editable errors with be displayed.  You can make corrections as you would do with the full data list.

Upload history

Once the data is submitted, it will be staged for processing.  To see the progress of the data processing, you can click on the View Status button on the message displayed right after the data submission.

If you want to see the processing status after the blue message disappears, you can click on the Upload Status under Fleet Level Compliance > Setting pulldown menu.

Upload history keeps the history of the data files you submitted and the processing status of the data.
