What are the session timeouts on myCFM Portal?

To comply with security and compliance requirements, myCFM Portal uses two "timeout" mechanisms to log users out of the website after a period of time or activity.

There is a Lifetime timeout which causes a redirect of the user to the login screen after eight hours following login. This is regardless of the user's activity (or, non-activity). And, there is the Activity-based timeout which stops the user's connection to the server after two hours of inactivity.

The activity-based timeout may occur without notice to the user. The Portals team is working out how best to alert users in this scenario.
